We have announced plans to make the unique theatre, dubbed by critics as the “northern alternative to Shakespeare’s Globe”, even bigger from 2013. The 320 seat theatre, designed by city based Chester Performs, is set to have an extra 120 seats from 2013, raising total capacity to 22,000 seats.
